What I Write You

I write you this letter
We once knew better
And now where are we at
Did you find what you lack?

Dreams don’t always come true
Nightmares we’ll get through
Life doesn’t always equal fair
The end is near or we are already there?

I wrote you a poem
And hoped you’d find home
But I fear you are too far
Lost as you are

Dreams don’t always play out
Nightmares are all about
Life isn’t always glorious
Ever really wonder what had happened to us?

I’m writing you a song
In hopes you knew you were wrong
May there be some peace
Erase this painful disease

Dreams can really come true
Nightmares can be through
Life will one day be what you strive
One day we’ll really learn to be alive
