In With The Wind

Reminisce, of a time so young and dull
Before there ever was hint of trouble
Before the past now was what you’d know

Keep a thought, a candle lit just for me
A future day is in the works
It’s blowing in this strong breeze

Don’t worry about the facts, it’ll straighten out
Don’t you dare fret about a choice turned vexed
I know it feels your heart is on the mend
And that your faith is now a mess
But what you need is in with the wind

Problematic, to swim through all the static
and at times our thoughts can seem sporadic
Fresh tears stain cheeks has been habit

I hear your wailing, so I set to sailing
Across the sky I fly to make it your way
In hopes someday, I can heal what’s ailing

Don’t cry about the past, it’s already done
Don’t you dare care for the choices turned vexed
I know it feels your heart won’t ever mend
And that your faith is always a mess
But what you need is in with the wind

Half helpless fear cripples you
A wind storm threw me around too
But this much I understand
I’m blowing in with the wind
